In 2021, Yiannis shared his dream with his wife Katerina, and together they decided to create company that would showcase the treasures of Crete and the amazing extra virgin olive oil it produces. They named their company “Kera Treasures of Crete” and set out to make their dream a reality.
The name “Kera” itself speaks to the heart of the company’s vision. It comes from the Kera olive grove, a place that has been in Yiannis family for four generations. It’s more than just a location for him, it’s a part of his soul. He grew up playing among the olive trees, and they became an integral part of who he was.
