Origanum microphyllum, also known as Antonaida or Matzourana, is a type of perennial herbaceous plant that endemic to Crete. It can be found thriving on rocky slopes and scrublands in the White Mountains and Dikti mountain range, at altitudes of up to 2000 meters.
Origanum microphyllum Kera is grown organically, hand-harvested, and cultivated in its natural environment near to the majestic Samaria Gorge, without any use of chemicals or processing methods that may compromise its medicinal and therapeutic properties.

Matzourana tea has a unique strong aroma and a spicy flavor. It has been known and used in Greece since ancient times, where it was believed to have been created by the goddess of beauty, Aphrodite.
